Narragansett, RI (May 20, 2007) – Sweet Twist is now celebrating the grand opening of its second location, Sweet Twist Narragansett. Commemorating the Memorial Day Weekend event will be special samplings of Jelly Bellies, Chocolate, and Serendipity Frozen Hot Chocolate through the entire weekend.  

“The new location mirrors our emporium in East Greenwich, but this is cozy,” comments co-owner Mary Lada. “In keeping with the beach and summertime theme, this location is bright and colorful hot pink, lime green and yellow. We are focusing on our most popular handmade items, including chocolate caramel dipped apples, pretzel rods, and chocolate covered popcorn, plus select seaside items. Count on a little bit of everything our customers have grown to love over the years.”

Located in the Narragansett Pier Marketplace, Sweet Twist Narragansett will feature many of the favorites from the East Greenwich location, including a Jelly Belly Machine, Sweet Twist signature RI Seaside chocolates, licorice, taffy, fudge, sugar free chocolates, and unique gift items.  For the kids, Sweet Twist has installed an 18’ long grab bag wall of candy –the largest in Rhode Island. Additional fun ideas from Sweet Twist include: Klutz brand craft kits, plush stuffed animals, kites, puzzles, and toys.

“The addition of the South County location is in response to requests of both our frequent, local customers and to the recent surge in web-based queries, since we launched the e-commerce component of our business,” comments Lada. “It is integral to our overall effort of making our products more accessible to our customers.”
